As a non-profit organization, CCA opened a basic business checking account with an initial deposit of $147.00 at the Firstar Bank of Minnesota (now US Bank) on May 12, 1992. The initial funding was mostly donated by Bonnie Peng and a few other people who attended the inaugural meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. The president, president-elect/vice president and secretary/treasurer are the authorized representatives to have access to the CCA account at the bank. The CCA checkbook is kept by the secretary/treasurer. The monthly bank statement is mailed to the CCA headquarters where all official CCA documents, including deposit slips, returned checks and monthly statements, are housed. CCA welcomes any donations.
